Anyhoo, I picked this up a while ago, mainly because i prefer palettes to individual eyeshadows - you have everything in one place then! The primer (1) is does the job but I would personally prefer using one that is a bit of a creamier base such as Urban Decay's Primer Potion as I find it tends to hold the eyeshadow a bit better. The shadow that goes onto your lid is very easy to put on and the colour remained throughout the entire evening when I wore it. The little segment of gold sparkle is a nice touch to just add that little bit extra to your eyes.
It even has a numbered guide if you're not sure what order you put everything on. The one I have is in Metropolitan but there are also 7 other varieties to choose from. Overall, I would say that it was a £8.99 well spent as it is a good basic palette to have, easily applied and you can vary how much you put on to suit day or night.
